How the idea came about
We are Alessia and Sandra, siblings from Berlin. About 2 years ago the
Idea for The Ocean Studio over an evening of wine for two.
As half-Italian, we used to vacation in Italy almost every summer during our childhood
near the sea. And even then we noticed how much the sea affects not only our soul
but also good for the skin.
We have been interested in cosmetics for years and have tried quite a few things. put
However, we realize that there are no cosmetics that have really caught our attention to date. Either
was it way too expensive, didn't do the skin any good or just didn't look chic enough to wear
to stand in the bathroom.
We informed ourselves about the minerals and ingredients of the sea and found it quickly
found out that one species is particularly good for the skin: the algae. Because we don't have any algae
wanted, we decided on the algae, with the strongest antioxidant: the astaxanthin.
